How to Share a Dossier

Collaborating with colleagues, channels, and teams.

NOTE: Sharing with a team is not a standard feature, to enable it, please contact our support team.

Accessing the Share Menu

There are two ways to initiate sharing:

  • From My Space: Navigate to My Space > Dossiers, find your dossier in the list, and click the Share button.

  • From Within the Dossier: Open the dossier you want to share and click the Share Arrow icon located in the top-right toolbar.

Sharing Options

When the dialog opens, you can choose your audience:

  • Specific User: Type a colleague's name or email.

  • Channel: Share with an entire distribution channel.
Note: You must have the Publisher role for that channel to share content.
  • Team: Share with a pre-defined team group.

Note: Team sharing is a Pro feature. If unavailable, please contact support.

Setting Permissions (Roles)

When inviting a user or team, you must assign a role that defines their capabilities:

  • Reader: Can view and search the dossier content but cannot make changes.

    • Best for: Stakeholders who need to review the final output.

  • Editor: Can edit content, share with others, assign tasks, and manage the dossier.

    • Best for: Co-authors and collaborators working on the project.


Managing Access

You can revoke access at any time.

  • Open the Share menu again.

  • Locate the user or channel in the list.

  • Click the Remove button next to their name.

 

Restrictions:

  • Drafts cannot be shared: Only Released dossiers can be shared.

  • Private Organizations: Individual users in "Private organizations" are restricted from sharing dossiers.
