How to set up content roles on the dossier
In this article, you will learn about the specific user content roles in the dossiers and how to change them.
Each user with access to the dossier has a specific content role.
- READER - can access the content shared with the channel; cannot update, share, assign or delete.
- EDITOR - can edit content, share, assign or delete.
You can change the role (Reader or Editor) in the dossier by clicking on the "Share" icon in the dossier:
- Click on the "Share" icon (dossier share) in the top right
- you will see a list of the users/channels the dossier is shared with (additionally there could be also teams - this is not a standard feature, to enable it, please contact our support team.)
- you can change the role of each user by selecting Editor or Reader role
- as you can see in the image above there are two users and one channel named "Main foods" and the switch button for roles is missing. This is because the channel roles are handled differently. You can learn more about it in the article: How to set up content roles (for organization managers only)
