What's new in Feeds

As part of our AI Copilot initiative we changed the way the feeds work to improve the workflow of the horizon scanning teams

Our team has been hard at work, and we are proud to present the latest version of the Feeds module, which comes with several game-changing features that are set to enhance your user experience. In this blog post, we will walk you through these transformative changes that will impact all users.

1) Updated notification system

One of the most significant improvements in the new Feeds module is doubling down on workflows of horizon scanning teams. Previously the indicator of unread items has shown number of new posts since your last visit. This has been changed and now the indicator shows number of unread items in the feed.

We also introduced new controls for you to easily manage new and unread items in your feed, similarly to interactions you're used to in your email inbox.

2) Seamless Feed Sharing

Collaboration is a key element of any successful horizon scanning process. To facilitate easier collaboration among your team members, we have introduced a new feature that allows you to share your feeds with colleagues effortlessly.

Users with which you shared the feed, will automatically get access to the same information as you. Anytime any of your colleagues make changes in the underlying query, the feed will be updated to all users.

One of the key improvements in the collaborative feeds is that you're going to get visibility into activity of your colleagues on the feed and whether your colleagues has accessed the post.

This feature makes it easy for larger teams to monitor same stream of posts.

3) AI-Generated Summaries and Enhanced Layout

As part of your feed package, instead of original abstracts you'll get access to AI generated summaries of the content behind the link. This makes it easy to filter out relevant content without ever leaving a feed page.

Changes above are common across all license levels. To see what new features are now available on feeds, please check our AI Copilot release blogpost.
