What are Source Categories?
Understanding and using information origins to refine your research.
Source Categories are a way to organize the origin of information collected in the platform. Each category represents a specific class of sources, grouping different actors in the Food & Feed market to help you understand the context of the information.
What are Source Categories?
Source Categories organize posts by the type of organization or entity that published the information. Each post is assigned one or more source categories to help you find content from specific types of sources.
How to Use Source Categories
You can filter posts by one or more source categories in feeds and searches. A post can have multiple source categories assigned (for example, a news article from a government website might be classified as both "News journals" and "Government body"). Filtering for any of these categories will show you the post.
Example: A press release from a Ministry of Agriculture announcing new regulations might be classified as both "Government body" and "News journals". Filtering for either category will show you this post.
