How to Save & Monitor Personalized Feeds

Creating custom monitoring dashboards from your Food Safety Intelligence (FSI) queries.

Once you have configured a specific search query in the Food Safety Intelligence (FSI) module (e.g., tracking a specific hazard in a specific market), you can save it as a Feed. This allows you to return to this specific view instantly and receive automated email updates.

Saving a New Feed

  • Configure Filters: On the FSI page, select your desired criteria (Commodity, Hazard, Market, etc.) using the top filter bars.
  • Initiate Save: Click the orange "Save to Feeds" button located in the top right corner of the screen.
  • Configure Details: A pop-up window will appear:
    • Name: Give your feed a descriptive name (e.g., "Salmonella in Meat and Meat Products").

    • Notifications: Choose your frequency. You can opt to receive a Weekly email digest sent at your preferred time, or disable notifications completely.

Managing Your Feeds

After saving, you will be redirected to your dedicated Feed Dashboard. Here you can manage your monitoring settings.

  • Access Settings: Look for the Tool/Gear icon in the top right corner of the feed header.

  • Available Actions:

    • Edit Feed Details - Rename the feed.

    • Edit Feed Notifications - Change email frequency.

    • Customize Widgets - Toggle specific charts on or off.

    • Delete - Permanently remove the feed.

IMPORTANT: What gets saved? It is crucial to understand which parameters are stored in your Feed.

  • SAVED: The system saves the Global Filter Fields (the dropdowns at the very top of the page).

  • NOT SAVED: Changes made by clicking inside the Interactive Charts or Timeline are considered temporary explorations.

Example: If you filter for "Meat" in the top bar, that will be saved. If you filter for "Meat" in the top bar, but then click on "France" inside the map chart to temporarily zoom in, the "France" selection will not be saved to the feed.
