      Types of the post

      Within SGS Digicomply there are few terms, that describe the nature of the post.

      Those terms are:

      • Regulation - Consisting of mandatory legal requirements; published by official authority.
      • Guidance - Aggregating explanatory notes to legal requirements; published by authorities, industry associations, international organisations, internal policies; not legally binding but useful to know to achieve compliance.
      • Scientific - Risk assessment reports and publication as well as peer-reviewed scientific articles; scientific-based content which may have an impact on food safety matters and Early Warning strategies (e.g. EFSA scientific publications and opinions) or sustainability.
      • News - Any other type of information (i.e. not Regulation nor Guidance nor Scientific) published by either media outlets, government bodies, Non Governmental Organizations (NGO), etc. It includes also legislative proposals and draft regulations (i.e. not yet approved by the government or relevant authority) and Alerts and recalls.
