How to search for food additives limits

Food additive limits are part of the Restricted Substances Database with its own specific category

You can access food additive usage restrictions from the Restricted Substances page under the search menu.

In order to filter by the category "Food Additives", please first enter at least one market, or substance or product - if there are any Food Additive restrictions matching your search parameters, the category filter will be shown.

Please note that often food additive usage restrictions come with specific notes that you can access by clicking on the limit or GMP text. Doing so will open up a detail page with notes, additional information and the related regulation link (if any).
