What is an Insight?
An Insight is a dedicated object within the Digicomply system designed to act as a central container for a specific topic, event, or project. It allows you to collect all related information (documents, files, notes) in one place and share it with multiple users or teams within your organization.
Anatomy of an Insight
Each Insight is structured using specific metadata to help you track its progress and importance:

Standard Properties: Every Insight includes a Name, Description, and status indicators like Impact, Stage, and Next Action.
- Custom Properties: Depending on your organization's needs, these properties can be extended with user-defined fields.
What can you collect?
The power of an Insight lies in its ability to aggregate different types of content into a single view:
- Posts: You can add content from Digicomply search results, upload your own local files (PDFs, Excel), or add specific external URLs.

Dossiers: You can link full Dossiers to an Insight to reference larger bodies of work.

Signals: You can create Signals directly within the Insight detail page or add them during your monitoring process.

AI-Copilot Integration
Insights are fully integrated with our AI. As soon as you have collected documents into your Insight, you can activate AI-Copilot. The AI will analyze only the specific documents contained within that Insight to answer your questions, summarize findings, or extract specific data points.
Team Collaboration & Tasks
Insights are designed for teamwork. The interface allows you to:

Add Comments: Discuss specific details with your team directly on the Insight timeline.

Mention Users: Use the @ symbol to notify specific colleagues.

Assign Tasks: You can convert a comment into a Task, assign it to a team member, and set a specific Deadline for completion.
