This article explains the best ways to setup a FEED for Standards
Monitoring for updates from standards publishers can be performed in different ways depending on the specific needs of each users. All posts related to standards are identified by the specific topic Standards
Posts about standards are currently classified in three types, depending on the type of standard and on the type of content itself:
- type REGULATION is set for all posts containing the actual text of a mandatory standard that are required by the law of the country (e.g. GB standards in China),
- type GUIDANCE is set for all posts containing the text of a standard applicable on a voluntary basis, in this case the government doesn't mandate the application of the standard in order to be compliant,
- type NEWS is applied to any post that points, for example, to online shops selling standards but that do not actually contain the text of the standard itself.
The three Post types can be used in conjunction to the topic to further filter the content and target specific needs.
Then, any other criteria can be used to further narrow down your data feed.
