How to Add a Post to a Channel

Distributing content to specific teams and user groups within your organization.

This feature is available to users with a PRO License or higher.

You can only add content to channels where you hold the Publisher role. If you do not see a specific channel in your list, you likely only have "Reader" access. Please contact your Organization Manager to upgrade your channel permissions.

Access Post Details

Navigate to the post you wish to share. This can be done from your Search results, Feeds, or My Space. Open the document to view the full details.

Open the Channels Panel

Look at the right-hand sidebar (Post Info panel).

  • Scroll down until you see the Channels section.

  • Click the Add... button or Share if it doesn't have any channels yet.

Select Your Channel

A dialog will appear listing all channels where you have publishing rights.

  • Search: Use the search bar to find the specific channel name.

  • Select: Check the box next to the channel(s) you want to add this post to.

  • Confirm: Click Save to publish the post to the selected channel.

 

Result: The post is now visible to all members subscribed to that channel. They may receive a notification based on their personal alert settings.
