How to setup and define your own ingredients restrictions based on business policies
Background
Consumer products manufacturers and distributors may have stricter internal limits than what is required by the regulation and when validating the safety of their products would like to apply these internal policies rather than the regulatory ones.
With customer owned restrictions, you can maintain your own data set of restrictions.
License requirements
To manage your own internal ingredients restrictions, you need both enterprise and individual PRO license level. To activate, please contact support or your SGS DIGICOMPLY main point of contact.
How it works
From the Restricted Substances page there is a new link on the top right called "my RS" where you can create your own restrictions with 2 different options:
- Manually, entering one by one
- In batch mode through importing restrictions created via an Excel spreadsheet
